Our process is designed to deliver clarity, craftsmanship, and confidence at every stage. Each step is carefully managed by our experienced team to ensure your custom pool is built to the highest standards.

Our Pool Construction Process

A clear, proven approach that guides each phase of construction with precision and care.

Phase 1:

Planning & Site Preparation

This phase focuses on preparation, accuracy, and compliance before construction begins.

  • Yard measurement and site evaluation
  • Pool layout and ground preparation
  • Excavation
  • 25% payment due on the day construction begins

Phase 2:

Structural Construction & Inspections

The pool’s structural foundation is built and inspected to ensure long-term integrity.

  • Installation of forms and steel reinforcement
  • Required inspections:
    - Pool steel (structure)
    - Main drains (plumbing)
    - Steel bonding (electrical)
  • Spa pre-plumbing and jet installation (if applicable)
  • Gunite installation
  • 30% payment due as per contract

Phase 3:

Plumbing & Pool Systems

All underground systems are installed, tested, and approved.

  • Removal of forms and backfilling with pool soil
  • Pool perimeter plumbing
  • Plumbing inspections
  • Backfilling plumbing trenches and deck grading

Phase 4:

Tile, Coping & Decking

This phase defines the visual finish and functional surroundings of your pool.

  • Coping and tile installation
  • Installation of perimeter bonding grid or continuous 8-gauge bonding wire loop
  • 30% payment due as per contract
  • Pouring concrete deck or installing pavers

Phase 5:

Enclosures, Equipment & Finishing Touches

Final construction elements and surface preparations are completed.

  • Screen enclosure, railing, or fencing installation
  • Pool equipment placement
  • Pool interior cleaning and preparation
  • Deck topping and staining (concrete only)
  • Final machine grading
    - Final yard cleanup completed by landscaper

Phase 6:

Interior Finish, Start-Up & Final Inspections

The final phase prepares your pool for use and ensures all systems meet approval.

  • Final electrical and safety barrier inspection
  • Pool interior finish (plaster)
    - 5% payment due at the start of plastering
  • Pool start-up:
    - Water balancing and chemical setup
    - Homeowner orientation and maintenance guidance
    - Delivery of cleaning tools
    - Minor touch-ups as needed
    - One month of follow-up service

Final inspections may include

  • Plumbing inspection
  • Heat pump inspection (if required)
  • Deck inspection
  • Landscape inspection
  • Zoning inspection

Once all inspections are approved, your pool is complete and ready to enjoy.
